2022
A website for a campus event. The event consists of competitions and concerts.
Overview
The 3rd Manoover is a work program of the Project Division Management Student Association Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (MSA FEB UNDIP) where there are two series of events, namely the Manoover Competition which facilitates student’s interests and talents in sports and arts that uphold sportsmanship and creativity, and the Manoover Closing Ceremony which is the culmination of the Manoover series with performances from the Featuring Band, Guest Star, Special Performance, and Band Performance. They want to create a website for 3rd Manoover with ticketing system. The ticketing system is still with manual way, not using any third-party plugin. So the ticket purchase will be check and accept by admin. The client want a simple ticketing system for their concert and competitions. The theme for this website is sea, based on Manoover 3rd's theme.
My Role
Creating user flows, wireframes, design mockups and interactive prototype.
The Team
Solo designer, working with my team that consists of Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers and Project Managers.
Timeline
This project was done in 3 months including the development process.
Design Process
This project begins with a discussion of website needs with the client. After understanding the needs of the website, my team and I had discussions about the flow of using the website, especially for buying tickets. After having user flows, we discuss again with the client about the user flows that have been created. The result is an agreed user flow.
Based on the agreed user flow, the interface design process begins. After looking for several design references for both an event website or a website with a marine theme, we found a style for the 3rd Manoover website. Once the design is created, I move on to creating animations and interactions. This process is done while communicating with the front-end developer.
After everything was done, we again held a meeting with the client to present the design results. The results of the meeting resulted in several revisions that were carried out until the website was launched.
